So far in the past week I have kayaked the orange river which has south africa to the south and namibia to the north. I have hiked many trails in various mountain ranges such as Naukluft mountains. I have hiked around the famous sites such as King Fisher canyon, sesriem canyon, sossusvei sand dunes. My favorite part so far has been the guided hike with a bush man. He showed us many of his traditional ways of living in the desert bush. He could find so many lizards, spiders, beetles in the sand that was not visible to any of us. He would reach his hand down about 6 inches and bring up all kinds of animals and plants. He shared with us family life and hunting life, his views on wife/husband was my favorite, of course he was a horrible male chauvinist. He talked to us with his tribal clicks.
